Can you finish a basement that gets water?
We address the water first — grading, gutters, interior drainage or sealing as needed — and only then finish. We will not frame over an active leak.
Can a basement bedroom be legal?
Yes, if it has proper egress, enough ceiling height and smoke and CO detection. We tell you up front whether your basement can meet those requirements.
What flooring works best in a basement?
Luxury vinyl plank and porcelain tile hold up best. Both are waterproof and comfortable with the right underlayment.
How long does basement finishing take?
Typically four to eight weeks, depending on size, bathrooms and inspection scheduling.
