Home / About
A Utica remodeling company that shows up and finishes.
ConFixIt was built around a simple idea: homeowners deserve clear prices, real schedules and a crew that treats the house like it is their own.
Who we are
Remodeling and security, under one roof.
ConFixIt is a Utica-based remodeling and security installation company serving homes, rental properties and small businesses throughout the Mohawk Valley.
We combined remodeling and camera installation for a practical reason: the best time to wire a house for security is when the walls are already open. One crew plans both, so cable runs are hidden, cameras land where they make sense, and you only deal with one company.
Every job — large or small — starts with a free walkthrough and an itemized written estimate, and ends with a final walkthrough together.
How we work
Clear pricing
Itemized estimates with options — no vague lump sums.
Respect for the house
Floors protected, dust contained, site swept daily.
One point of contact
One project lead from walkthrough to final walkthrough.
Honest advice
If a repair beats a replacement, we tell you.
Our standard
"Leave every house a little more solid than we found it — and a lot cleaner than the day we started."
— The ConFixIt crew
How it works
A project you can actually plan around.
Most remodeling headaches come from vague quotes and open-ended timelines. Every ConFixIt project runs on the same four steps, with a written scope and schedule before any work begins.
01
Walkthrough
We visit, measure, look behind what we can, and listen to how you want to use the space. Free, and no pressure.
02
Written estimate
An itemized quote with options at different price points, plus a realistic start date and schedule.
03
Build
One project lead, a protected and swept work area every day, and updates when something changes.
04
Final walkthrough
We go room by room with you, fix anything on the punch list, and leave the job site cleaner than we found it.
