Do I need a permit for a deck?
Most new decks and porch rebuilds need a building permit. We draw the plan, pull the permit and schedule inspections.
Composite or wood?
Composite costs more up front but needs almost no maintenance. Pressure-treated wood costs less but needs staining every few years.
Can you repair my porch instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. If the framing and footings are sound, we can replace decking, railings and posts and save the rest.
When is the best time to build a deck?
Spring through fall is ideal. Booking in winter gets you on the schedule early.
